Do you think that a beautiful future is crafted through the creative joining of science with policy? Do you want to share your artistic passion with your friends and colleagues? Exhibit your love of science, innovation and policy at CSPC 2015 by submitting your image (photos, drawings, paintings all welcome) to us by November 17th. Winning submissions will be featured in a first ever CSPC vernissage to be held during the conference. Let's bring science policy to life!

CSPC Image Contest Details

Please send all submissions to by November 17th. 

All image types are welcome including photos, drawings, paintings or digitally generated graphics.

Images may be digitally altered and enhanced. If image submissions include a subject, please provide written consent from them along with your submission.

Minimum resolution (pixels): 300 dpi
Maximum file size: 20MB
File formats accepted: .jpeg, .jpg, .gif

Image theme: Any is acceptable as long as there is a connection between the content of the image and science, innovation, technology or the application of policy regarding any of these.

Please include a title along with your image as well as a short (50-100 word) description about yourself, the significance of the image and how it was produced.

10 winning submissions will be selected by a CSPC committee prior to the conference. They will be displayed during the evening reception on Wednesday November 25th. On site voting by conference attendees will select the top three winners. Prizes will be awarded during the closing remarks on Friday November 27th, with the first prize being your conference registration fee! All submissions will be displayed on the CSPC website.

CSPC is partnering with the UK Science and Innovation Network to enhance the visibility of work done in science policy in both countries and to facilitate networking of science policy professionals.

If you love science policy photography, you can also enter this related competition to win a £1000 prize to travel to the UK to exhibit your winning photograph and meet with a collaborator to initiate or further an existing project between Canada and the UK.
